On Friday, Ottawa faced Baldwin in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Ottawa Cyclones walked away with a 47-39 win over the Baldwin Bulldogs. The victory was just business as usual for the Cyclones, who after 18 games remain undefeated this season.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Carr, who posted 15 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Carr's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Leo Schoenberger was another key player, going 5-for-7 en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

Ottawa's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-0. As for Baldwin, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.

Coincidentally, Ottawa and Baldwin will both be playing Tonganoxie the next time they take the court. Baldwin will head out to face Tonganoxie at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Ottawa will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
