Volleyball Recap: Seminole Beats Delphi Academy for Their Third Straight Victory

Seminole waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Delphi Academy Dragons. The Warhawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Seminole had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Seminole's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Delphi Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will host Tarpon Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Warhawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Delphi Academy, they will welcome Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
