Basketball Game Preview: Daniel Lions vs. Collins Hill Eagles

The Daniel Lions will be taking part in a tournament against the Collins Hill Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Daniel's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.

Daniel's tournament run continued when they took on Belton-Honea Path on Saturday. Daniel took down Belton-Honea Path 58-42.

Simms Disbrow had a dynamite game for Daniel, going 7 of 11 en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Smith, who posted 11 points and seven boards.

Daniel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Collins Hill beat Seneca 78-71 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Daniel's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Collins Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
