It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ridgeland had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 70-60 victory over the Pascagoula Panthers. The win was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won 11 contests in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ridgeland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashton Manuel, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 21 points. The dominant performance also gave Manuel a new career-high in shooting accuracy (75%). Marquis Williams was another key player, going 7-for-9 en route to 15 points and five boards.

Ridgeland's victory bumped their record up to 30-4. As for Pascagoula, they moved to 24-4 with that loss, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Ridgeland will challenge Olive Branch at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Olive Branch's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches. Pascagoula does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
