Football Recap: Citronelle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Millry last Thursday, Citronelle came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 16-7 to the Orange Beach Makos on Friday. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Citronelle still got an impressive performance from Kemarkys Howard, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown.

Citronelle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Orange Beach, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Citronelle will square off against Faith Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Orange Beach, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bayside Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
