Softball Recap: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Grantsville Cowboys
Tooele had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Grantsville Cowboys with a sharp 12-4 win on Thursday. The victory was just what Tooele needed coming off of a 10-3 defeat in their prior game.
Aubrie Hansen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits. Hansen has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Hansen was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with five RBI and a double.

Tooele will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Cottonwood at 3:30 p.m. Cottonwood is coming into the contest with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Tooele will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Grantsville, they will face off against Morgan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Grantsville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
