Football Recap: Mechanicville Takes a Loss

Mechanicville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Watervliet/Heatly.

Mechanicville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Watervliet/Heatly, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mechanicville is set to challenge their familiar foe Granville/Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Watervliet/Heatly will face off against rival Schuylerville on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Watervliet/Heatly 14.2, Schuylerville 14.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
