Softball Recap: Bassett Comes Up Short

Bassett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Workman Lobos. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-2 defeat on April 3rd.

Bassett's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Workman, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Bassett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 25-13 defeat against Pomona on the 1st. As for Workman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-5 victory against Edgewood on the 1st.
