Football Recap: North Grand Comes Up Short

North Grand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 26-13 to the Northside Mustangs. The Eagle Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

North Grand's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northside, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Grand will challenge rival Ogden International at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northside is set to take on their familiar foe Schurz at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Mustangs 10.8, the Bulldogs 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
