Jones' evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy Rice, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Silsbee pushed their record up to 12-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.3 points per game. As for West Orange-Stark, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

West Orange-Stark took a serious blow against Silsbee in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 112-55. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point West Orange-Stark was down 62-26.
