Volleyball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Holland Gamble and Ashtyn Dark + How To Watch

Horseshoe Bend was the 3-0 winner over Benjamin Russell when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Horseshoe Bend took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Horseshoe Bend's loss came despite strong showings from Ashtyn Dark and Holland Gamble. Dark had nine digs, while Gamble had nine digs.

Horseshoe Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Benjamin Russell, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Horseshoe Bend has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Fayetteville on the 11th. As for Benjamin Russell, they will take on Beauregard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
