Football Game Preview: Syosset vs. Massapequa Chiefs

Syosset is 1-8 against Massapequa since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Syosset will venture away from home to square off against Massapequa at 3:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Syosset didn't have too much trouble with Hempstead as they won 30-14. Syosset hasn't had any issues with Hempstead recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Massapequa got the win against Farmingdale on Saturday by a conclusive 28-3. The 28-point effort marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Syosset now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Massapequa, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Syosset took a serious blow against Massapequa when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 55-20. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Syosset was down 42-14.
