Millard South hadn't done well against Papillion-LaVista recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Patriots blew past the Monarchs 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Millard South walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-18.

Madi Jacobson paced Millard South's offense, picking up 12 kills. Jacobson got some help from Bailey Wyzenski and her 33 assists. Wyzenski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Millard South's record now sits at 32-7. As for Papillion-LaVista, their loss dropped their record down to 11-18.
