It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Mountain Home ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past the Batesville Pioneers 9-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on April 7th.

The win got Mountain Home back to even at 9-9. As for Batesville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Home will take on Alma at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bombers are facing the Airedales at the right time seeing as the Airedales are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Batesville, they will face off against Marion at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
