Baseball Recap: Vinal RVT Comes Up Short

Vinal RVT managed to slip by Ellis RVT the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hawks lost 13-4 to the Eagles on Wednesday.

Adam Cross made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Erick Leue, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Vinal RVT's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Ellis RVT, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Vinal RVT will head out to face off against Academy of Science and Innovation at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ravens have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Ellis RVT, they will venture away from home to challenge Windham RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
