Volleyball Recap: Schaumburg Christian Takes a Loss

Schaumburg Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Westmont Sentinels.

Sarah Perfanov paced Schaumburg Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Perfanov got some help from Eunice Cho and her 12 assists. Finally, Elizabeth Tomasek kept Schaumburg Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Schaumburg Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Westmont, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Schaumburg Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Illinois Math & Science Academy on the 20th. As for Westmont, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Aurora Central Catholic on the 20th.
