Smithfield has gone 9-1 against Poquoson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Packers will venture away from home to take on the Islanders at 7:00 p.m. Smithfield will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Smithfield's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Warhill 1-0. Give Smithfield's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Poquoson was forced to settle for a draw. They and York finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Poquoson's goal came courtesy of Seth Tozer, who's now up to three this season.

Poquoson's draw makes their record 3-5-1 this season. As for Smithfield, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Smithfield beat Poquoson by a goal in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Packers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
