Soccer Recap: Camas Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Camas barely beat Mountain View the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Papermakers' defense stepped up to hand the Thunder a 4-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Camas, who have now won three games by three goals or more so far this season.

Camas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Camas will be playing in front of their home fans against Chiawana at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mountain View, they will challenge Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View are facing Evergreen at the right time seeing as Evergreen are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
