Soccer Recap: Culver Community Takes a Loss

Culver Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oregon-Davis Bobcats. Even if Culver Community couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

They hit Oregon-Davis with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jacob Ringer (2), Johnny Villegas (2), and Kael Buschman.

Culver Community's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Oregon-Davis, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.

Culver Community has already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against LaVille on the 2nd. As for Oregon-Davis, they will square off against Westville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
