North waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took down the Burncoat Patriots 36-20. For the Polar Bears, this counts as revenge for the 42-8 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Koza, who rushed for 72 yards and one TD on only ten carries. Richard Abalo was another key back, rushing for 72 yards and one score on only eight carries.

North's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Burncoat, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

North and Burncoat will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Polar Bears see the field they'll take on South at 12:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Burncoat, their break will end when they face Doherty Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
