Gulf Shores will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Cottage Hill Christian Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Dolphins strolled past the Warriors with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 58-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dolphins.

Meanwhile, Pace unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 46-35 to West Florida on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost five in a row.
