Volleyball Game Preview: Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras vs. Liberty Charter Lions

The Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras will face off against the Liberty Charter Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chula Vista Learning Community Charter has six straight victories, Liberty Charter has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Chula Vista Learning Community Charter and Horizon Prep had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Cobras came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Liberty Charter fell 3-1 to Horizon Prep. While Liberty Charter didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Horizon Prep 25-20 in the first set.

Liberty Charter started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-16.

Liberty Charter's loss dropped their record down to 6-16-1. As for Chula Vista Learning Community Charter, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Everything went Chula Vista Learning Community Charter's way against Liberty Charter when the teams last played last Friday, as Chula Vista Learning Community Charter made off with a 3-0 victory.
