Newberg is 9-1 against Liberty since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:45 p.m. Newberg is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Newberg came up short against Glencoe and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Liberty can bid farewell to their 13-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over McMinnville. The Falcons not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Liberty's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for Newberg, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Newberg was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
