Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Takes a Loss

After soaring to 66 points the game before, St. Joseph Catholic was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 54-28 to the St. Paul Cardinals. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

St. Joseph Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for St. Paul, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Catholic will welcome Faith West Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. As for St. Paul, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bracken Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
