Baseball Game Preview: Comanche Indians vs. Millsap Bulldogs

The Comanche Indians will challenge the Millsap Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Comanche has three straight victories, Millsap has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Comanche beat Dublin 11-8.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Welch, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (four). Cayden Davis was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Comanche was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, in Thursday's Canine Competition, Millsap didn't have enough. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-3 to Peaster, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Millsap saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Savage, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Millsap's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Comanche, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-7.
