Basketball Recap: Morristown Central Takes a Loss

Morristown Central lost against Edwards-Knox back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Morristown Central Rockets were beaten by the Edwards-Knox Cougars 70-30. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morristown Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Edwards-Knox, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morristown Central will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lisbon Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Edwards-Knox, they will challenge Harrisville at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
