Amherst County had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Liberty on Tuesday. The Lancers blew past the Minutemen 3-0. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Minutemen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Amherst County's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
