Softball Recap: Warren Central Dragons vs. Edmonson County Wildcats
Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell victim to a rough 15-0 defeat at the hands of the Edmonson County Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Warren Central of the 15-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
For Edmonson County's part, they got a massive performance out of Jolee Vincent, who went 2-for-2 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base. Keyleigh Ann Sanders was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Edmonson County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren Central is on the road again on Tuesday to play Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. As for Edmonson County, they will square off against Ohio County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
