Forsyth Central and Mount Pisgah Christian are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2020, but not for long. The Bulldogs will face off against the Patriots at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Forsyth Central didn't have quite enough to beat East Forsyth and fell 2-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Forsyth Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sydney Carr had 17 digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, Mount Pisgah Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Whitefield Academy on Thursday, taking the game 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the WolfPack: they've now won six in a row.

The win got Mount Pisgah Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Forsyth Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Forsyth Central came up short against Mount Pisgah Christian in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
