Basketball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

On Sunday, the Jackson Polar Bears were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 61-56 to the Westerville North Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Polar Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Warriors are ranked fourth).

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Westerville North, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Jackson has already played their next match (against Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Westerville North will welcome Hayes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
