Softball Recap: Venture Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Venture Academy and Livingston squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Venture Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 11-3.

Venture Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arii Correa, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Venture Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Livingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Venture Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Livingston, they will face off against Ripon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
