Recap: Tilden Blue Devils vs. Bowen Boilermakers
The Tilden Blue Devils can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-14 victory over Bowen. Tilden's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Tilden was led to victory by Rachel Ruiz and Daniela Villegas-Sarmiento. Ruiz scored 14 points along with seven steals, while Villegas-Sarmiento scored 21 points. Antonella Villegas-Sarmiento was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Tilden pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Bowen, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Tilden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bowen won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against DuSable at 4:30 p.m. on January 25th. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (DuSable: 21.2, Bowen: 26.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
