It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Philip Barbour had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 36-8 win over the South Harrison Hawks. The Colts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.

Philip Barbour found their leader in sophomore Robbie Jones, who threw for 72 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 71 yards on only five carries.

Philip Barbour was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. They are a perfect 8-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Philip Barbour, bringing their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.6 points on average over those games. As for South Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Philip Barbour will be playing in front of their home fans against Clay County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant wideouts against one another: Cameron Bennett and Jakoby Nichols. South Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
