Benton can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They breezed by the Mt. Pleasant Panthers to the tune of 65-29. The Bobcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Benton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
