Basketball Recap: 16 Straight Home Wins for Warrensville Heights

Warrensville Heights put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 65-13 win over the Maple Heights Mustangs. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warrensville Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than De'Aja Smith, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skyler Ballard, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Warrensville Heights smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
