Carroll skates past Cottonwood with ease

Recap: Carroll Eagles vs. Cottonwood Bears
The Carroll Eagles entered their tilt with the Cottonwood Bears with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Carroll blew past Cottonwood, posting a 67-34 victory at home. That looming 67-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Carroll yet this season.
Peyton Plott was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with five steals. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of N'jia Gosha, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Carroll is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Cottonwood, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Carroll won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Luverne at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Cottonwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Graceville at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
