After a string of nine wins, Manteno's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Beecher Bobcats by a score of 2-1. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Manteno's loss dropped their record down to 29-5. As for Beecher, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-13 record this season.

Manteno didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bishop McNamara on the 28th. As for Beecher, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Catalyst-Maria on the 28th.
