Basketball Recap: South Oldham Takes a Loss

South Oldham lost against Meade County back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Oldham Dragons fell 72-64 to the Meade County Green Waves. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyton Bradley was her usual excellent self, going 12 for 27 en route to 31 points and six boards for Meade County. Bradley has become a key player for Meade County: the team is 9-2 when she posts at least 30 points, but 4-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Rider, who posted four points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.

South Oldham's record is now 6-8. As for Meade County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Oldham will host North Oldham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Oldham is facing North Oldham at the right time seeing as North Oldham is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Meade County, they will welcome Breckinridge County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meade County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.
