Softball Recap: Tenino Beavers vs. Montesano Bulldogs
Tenino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell victim to a tough 12-2 loss at the hands of the Montesano Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tenino of the 21-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Monday.
Sophia Hussey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-3 with a stolen base, a double, and an RBI.
On Montesano's side, Kaitlyn Trail was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Trail was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
