Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

If University was feeling good fresh off their 69-31 takedown of Cheney last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The University Titans were beaten by the Central Valley Bears 58-27 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Bears are ranked fifth).

University has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Central Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

University will host Shadle Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. University is facing Shadle Park at the right time seeing as Shadle Park is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Central Valley has already played their next contest (against Kennewick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
