Soccer Recap: Williams Valley Takes a Loss

Williams Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Halifax Wildcats, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Williams Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while Halifax are ranked 73rd).

Williams Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Halifax, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Coming up, Williams Valley will head out on the road to face off against Montgomery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Halifax, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Millersburg at 6:30 p.m.
