Volleyball Recap: Oceanside Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oceanside can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Mira Mesa Marauders on Wednesday. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it ten in a row.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Mira Mesa scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21.

Mira Mesa was led to victory by Bailey McBride and Melanie Warner. McBride had 11 digs and three aces, while Warner had five digs and one assist. That's the most digs McBride has posted since October 1st.

Oceanside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Mira Mesa, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-14.

As of now, neither Oceanside nor the Marauders have any future games scheduled.
