Softball Recap: L'Anse Creuse Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for L'Anse Creuse's offense. They came up short against the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils on Wednesday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 on Wednesday.

L'Anse Creuse saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Kacir, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

L'Anse Creuse has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Grosse Pointe South, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. L'Anse Creuse will face off against New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grosse Pointe South, they will square off against Port Huron Northern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
