Doddridge County won against Webster County last Saturday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Doddridge County Bulldogs breezed past the Greenbrier West Cavaliers to the tune of 64-36. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Landon Thomas was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Isaac Johnson also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Doddridge County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Doddridge County's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Greenbrier West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Doddridge County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-65 win against Petersburg on the 12th. As for Greenbrier West, they will look to defend their home court on February 18th against Richwood at 7:00 p.m.
