Volleyball Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Warrenton Warriors, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Bre Knighten paced Fulton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Knighten got some help from Estella Vanschenkhof and her 23 assists. Vanschenkhof was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Warrenton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-15 record this season.

Fulton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Marshall on the 7th. As for Warrenton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Winfield on the 7th.
