It was a good run, but Case unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Cardinals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Breanna Fontes was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Case's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Case will head out to challenge Middleborough at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Braintree at 4:00 p.m. The Trojans are facing the Wamps at the right time seeing as the Wamps are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
