Football Game Preview: Chambersburg Trojans vs. Cumberland Valley Eagles + How To Watch

The Chambersburg Trojans will face off against the Cumberland Valley Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cumberland Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chambersburg, who comes in off a win.

Chambersburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Altoona 28-10 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

Chambersburg found their leader in sophomore Cam Green, who threw for 173 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Chambersburg didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ceagan Truett and Davonte Scott.

Meanwhile, Cumberland Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 21-16 to Harrisburg. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Cougars are ranked eighth).

Chambersburg's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4. As for Cumberland Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Chambersburg beat Cumberland Valley 17-10 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
