Baseball Game Preview: Valley Buffalos vs. Bryce Valley Mustangs

Valley hasn't had much luck against Bryce Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Buffalos will challenge the Mustangs at 1:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Intermountain Christian get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Buffalos as they're now sitting on three straight.

Valley let Jake Figgins and Weston Baird run wild. Figgins went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Baird got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits Figgins has posted since back in August.

Meanwhile, Bryce Valley made easy work of Wayne on Tuesday and carried off a 10-3 win. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Badgers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Bryce Valley's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
