Softball Recap: Ray Bearcats vs. Hayden Lobos

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Ray and Hayden had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Ray Bearcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hayden Lobos on Monday. The Bearcats have struggled against the Lobos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Mia Barajas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Kaylee Servant was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hayden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
