Kermit hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against the Anthony Wildcats by a score of 51-40 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Yellow Jackets: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in January, they had to take a 61-52 loss.

Kermit had a senior duo take command as Zavion Quiroz went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points and five boards and Diego Juarez posted eight points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Quiroz now owns an excellent 46.7% shooting accuracy. Brayden Pando was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Kermit's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Anthony, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season.

Coming up, Kermit will welcome Brownfield at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. Anthony does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
